Old Firm and Scotland stars Paul Hartley and Kris Boyd got together at Hampden today to support The Big Plus.
The clubs have been actively promoting the campaign through advertising and communication to their fan base.
Rangers Community Manager, Raymond Farrelly commented, "Rangers in the Community deliver a variety of learning programmes for people of all ages and backgrounds. The Big Plus, a further initiative we strongly support, enables adults to develop and strengthen their reading, writing and use of numbers through free learning courses. We would encourage fans to contact the free phone number and take advantage of this service."
A Celtic spokesperson commented, "Celtic is involved in a range of community and education initiatives and we are delighted now to support the Big Plus project. We would encourage any adults with reading, writing or numbers problems to contact the Big Plus and get the assistance that is available to them."
