Research carried out with callers to The Big Plus helpline told us that:
- 86% called the helpline to get help for themselves
- 61% said the TV adverts were their motivation for calling
- 83% rated the information sent to them, including the motivational film, as useful
- 55% have gone in to learning
- 94% of those in learning rated their tutors helpful
